The uplink finally held.
After months of crawling through scrap piles, solder smoke, bad coffee, broken oscilloscopes, and wiring harnesses that looked like they were designed by hostile forces in a hurry, the vessel managed to spit out its first clean broadcast. Not a test tone. Not another corrupted fragment. An actual transmission.
rocketship has officially been released to Bandcamp.
This is the first confirmed signal from the suprablaster platform, a long-range salvage vessel assembled from whatever components the planet had the nerve to throw away. Most of the circuitry still smells like dust and oxidized copper, but somehow the engines lit anyway.
The track itself is less a “song” and more a propulsion event. Guitars spinning like unstable gyroscopes, tape ghosts in the background, rhythm sections trying to keep the hull together while the whole thing pushes against gravity a little harder than recommended.
More transmissions are expected.
